Just a few new ones today…

While she’s not quite at 2 months yet, but new pictures are always good!

New pictures from Month 1:

Alaina had her one month check up today and everything checked out. She’s up to 9lbs 2oz and 22″, which means she’s put on a little over a pound since birth (about 2lbs since leaving the hospital) and has grown 2 inches already.

We went to The Prenatal Picture this weekend partly to get some new pictures but primarily to confirm that the little monkey growing inside Kandace’s womb was indeed a female. Well, bring on the pink blankets, we’ve got confirmation. We’ve also got a truck load of new pictures.

The Prenatal Picture was a fairly amusing experience – the ultrasound room is dimly lit, with light music in the background, and the ultrasound is projected onto the wall so that friends and/or family can watch while being seated comfortably in the living room area set in front of the projection screen.

Apparently my wife has a different spelling than this and I’ve lost the spelling battle.

Today we had the Week 18 checkup and lo and behold it’s a girl, despite pretty much everyone’s prediction that it would be a boy. Here’s the latest set of pictures, including a “3D” view which makes my future daughter look like an amorphous blob and/or an alien. Regardless, enjoy the pics!
